About
Iām Emily Hunt and I am a graduate of architecture. I recieved my Bachelor of Architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design at the University of Arkansas and my Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Washington University in St. Louis. I had a background in art and engineering and as a result I found myself drawn to architecture because it gave me an outlet to express my creativity in a concrete way that would benefit others besides myself. During my time in school I discovered that I loved working at a multitude of scales from smaller scale projects like furniture design to larger projects that serve a broader community. I focused my studies in graduate school on sustainability and historic preservation. I am passionate about architecture as a profession that integrates social justice with sustainable design. I believe that architecture should have minimal impact on the environment and should have a level of contextual sensitivity so as to serve and lift up the community it is in. My goals are to be an advocate and an educator of an architecture that upholds and exemplifies sensitivity to the environment and all of the people who interact daily with the built environment.
